A number of Wilde's British characters now are Americans; one of them is Mrs. Erlynne a sorely miscast Seek, a bankrupt adventuress who shows up in Amalfi and decides to seduce very wealthy, recently wedded Robert Windermere Umbers. Cast includes Helen Seek, Scarlett Johansson, Milena Vukotic, Stephen Campbell Moore, Mark Umbers, Tom Wilkinson, and Diana Hardcastle. (93 minutes, 2005)
Bulletproof Monk: Grub plays a friar who on no account ages when he wards an old scroll that acquires the secret of endless electricity although now it's time to find a replacement, and he imagines it might be youthful pickpocket Scott, of all individuals. Energetic and entertaining while it doesn't get too stupid; alas, visual effects take the place of authentic martial-crafts action most of the time. Absolute Power: A long time criminal on his final robbery stumbles into an incredible situation. He witnesses a rape-murder. What is even more incredible is that the murderer is none other than the President of the United States. Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, and Laura Linney all star in this movie. (1997 Action-Drama)
Delta Farce: 3 stupid army reservists, informed they are being sent to Iraq, are as an alternative dropped into the Mexican desert, where Larry and his friends Everett and Bill evidently Moe and Curly were unavailable go into motion contrary to corrupt police that they blunder for Middle Eastern terrorists.
